Sweden puts Erland Care Protective Skin on reimbursement list

This month TLV in Sweden approved Erland Care Protective Skin as a reimbursed product to people with stoma.
They recognize its properties as superlight, thin and with the absorption capacity of 15 times its dry weight. This solution can be used under the stoma baseplate to treat peristomal wounds, which occur in the majority of people with stoma.

TLV (Tandvårds- och Läkemedelsförmånsverket), (The Dental and Pharmaceutical Benefits Agency), is a central government agency whose remit is to determine whether a pharmaceutical product, medical device or dental care procedure shall be subsidized by the state.
